Thank God for several mother's days.
If you happen to realise this later than today, just look out, I'm sure there'll be another mother's day in some place next week or the week after lol. Seriously just check, it never ends or just come up with yours :)
Hmm! I can't believe I missed the one my mother knows, now I can confidently advise people on how to make up for it. You won't blame me, too many of them jireh!!! (trying to console myself).
Well I don't know what happened on march 14 , I sent a gift home as soon as I realized (fast girl). Of course it takes some days, so who knows? maybe I started sending it on Mother's day afterall and that could be the reason why I didn't bother calling, perhaps I wanted it to be a surprise:)
So to my sweet mother, (édes anya...had to show off some of my magyar :D) and of course all the wonderful mothers in the world, here's wishing you a beautiful and joyful day.
So back to Mother's day, I decided to do "Coat of many colours" by Dolly Parton. Firstly, because I like the song. Secondly, because I feel like I can relate to it, and most importantly because my mother likes to sing it a lot.

But actually I couldn't believe it, I'm always the first to remember every event in the house. Everybody's birthday is just mapped out in my brain like some mobile calendar. I tell my father "happy birthday" sometimes and he just cracks out, only to realize that yea! I was the first to remember his birthday as usual. Trust me now, I wait for 12 am on the dot.

Anyway I so wanted to make up for it that I would have used even Afghanistan's mother's day. Thank God I didn't miss it afterall, because today is the mother's day that is being recognised in America, Australia, Germany, Canada, Italy, India, Finland, Turkey, Japan and several other countries. (All join, whether its UK, Nigeria, America or Greece, Mother's day is mother's day shikinah!)
